DVM Management’s Founder and President, Bob Hyman has devoted his entire career to the business of veterinary medicine. He entered the pet health care profession in 1969 as a Hospital Manager and Administrator for a multi-doctor practice in Los Angeles. While working nights, he studied Animal Science at California Polytechnic College at Pomona. After graduating with honors and receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, he served as a Professional Technical Representative for the Animal Health Division of Johnson & Johnson (Pitman-Moore). During this time, he pursued a Master’s degree in Business Management at California State University, Fullerton.

Over the years, Mr. Hyman witnessed the frustration of many talented veterinarians whose long hours resulted in disappointing returns. In most cases, the culprit was ineffective business and financial strategies. He launched DVM Management in 1979 to serve as a complete solution for these challenges — helping veterinarians to work smarter, rather than harder.
